Preliminary plans outline an ambitious project aimed at establishing a cutting-edge plant capable of producing natural gas and petrochemicals, including HDPE and HDPP, with a capacity of 500,000 tons. The project encompasses the construction of a state-of-the-art facility, accompanied by the installation of a new 110km gas and condensate pipeline network.
Project Overview: Our team successfully managed various tasks such as loading and unloading, lashing, on-site unloading, and customization procedures, including obtaining special permits for specific commodities.
The project involved the transportation of over 300 containers, oversized bulk cargo, devices exceeding specifications, as well as multiple cranes, vehicles, forklifts, tractors, and similar equipment.
One of the primary challenges we encountered was the tight deadlines combined with complex customs regulations specific to this type of cargo.
However, our dedicated team invested significant effort in promptly preparing all necessary approvals and permits. As a result, we successfully adhered to the required timetable and ensured the project’s timely completion.
The selection of the site for this complex hinges on several key factors, such as access to competitive feedstock and energy supply, well-developed infrastructure, and proximity to major markets in Europe and Asia. By consolidating Uzbekistan’s position as a regional energy leader, the project seeks to leverage these advantages.
The complex is comprised of five primary manufacturing units:
Utilizing advanced MTO (Methanol-To-Olefins) technology, the project aims to produce unique natural gas chemical products that meet modern requirements. Through the comprehensive processing of hydrocarbon feedstocks, the complex will significantly contribute to Uzbekistan’s import substitution efforts, promote economic diversification, and foster the development of associated domestic industries.
This high-value-added package-type resources development project involves the extraction of natural gas, which is then transported to a Gas Chemical Plant located 110 km away. At the plant, the gas is processed to produce and market polymer chemicals, while any remaining natural gas is also sold.
